I follow a few self-imposed "rules" to help my creativity blossom in weird and wonderful ways.

Nevermind, they are definitely not rules (those take all of the fun out of things), so let's call them loose guidelines...

CREATIVITY RULE NUMBER ONE

Find the feelings.

Look for the little (or big) things that make me feel something—anything. I am partial to the stuff that makes me feel sparkly though.

CREATIVITY RULE NUMBER TWO

Add a little spice.

Not the burny kind, the creative stuff.

CREATIVITY​ RULE NUMBER THREE

Do the things.

Try anything. Do it badly.
Have a laugh (possibly at my own expense).
